Pros

nice office, very nice work colleagues. it`s an ok job for beginners (project managers) but you`ll end up working/ fighting rusty tools, manual stuff and bureaucracy.

Cons

medium to poor management, no investment in people, no real interest of helping people solve day to day problems, unskilled, with no experience managers (even in high roles). poor communication from all layers, poor people management. lots of people are leaving after 1 year because of the high workload and problems that keep repeating. your feedback is either not requested or not taken into consideration.

Pros

- Management is very good at communicating with its employees. They always respond to emails, texts, or pings in a timely fashion. - Payment is always on time - Compared to the nature of the work, pay is competitive - Variety of projects to work on once you gain experience - People friendly environment, relaxed atmosphere - Scheduling and hours are flexible, as long as you put in 40hrs/week. Can work around family / personal matters

Cons

- No company is perfect, but if there was incentives in the forms of pay increases, or better chances of conversion to FTE, I think long-term retention would be increased.

Pros

I respect the leadership at Welocalize. In all employee communications and town halls, they clearly set out the company culture and values, and challenge the staff to always do their best work, never settle. A lot of freedom is given to use your voice and to move good ideas forward. The staff are very smart, very bright people, and unfailingly hard-working. They use their initiative to propose and implement new solutions, and there's a true spirit of continuous improvement. It is motivating to work alongside such driven, hard-working and clever people. You will be constantly learning from the people around you, which is very enjoyable. There is true global interaction with coworkers, and the employee standards are high in all centers. There are lots of opportunities to develop your skills, to work on something new, and to be challenged. Welocalize has some of the biggest customers in the industry, whose needs are advanced. You can be part of a team which develops ongoing solutions to meet their evolving needs. There is no "same old same old" here!

Cons

Be prepared for a fast pace. It's exhilarating, but not for everyone.
