Compensation is typically lower than other companies would pay for similar roles
Not necessarily a con but a reality -with the growth and success of the company over the years, the hiring process as well as being promoted internally has become extremely competitive. Now in certain departments like BI/Direct Marketing, if you didn't go to an Ivy League school and/or don't ace the quantatative case interview, your chances of being considered for a position are low.
Might not necessarily be the case now, but a few years ago it was common for young employees to be promoted to manager level but with no experience managing which could sometimes be a challenge.
