Pros

The people were great to work with, and all understood the same BS that everyone had to go through just be recognized. They were easy going and collaborative, and made each day as enjoyable as it could be. There's a great work life balance, as the hours were manageable and not too demanding.

Cons

1. The salary grade. It's shameful. 2. The managers- many of them have been grandfathered in, so they weren't trained and have no idea how to lead and motivate people. 3. The open office. There's many conversations that can be heard that are disrespectful and make for a very hostile work environment. 4. Poor communication from upper management. Many company changes would simply just occur with no notice. 5. Little to no room for growth. Promotions are difficult to achieve (favorites are played) and come with little to no merit increase.

Pros

Great environment with easily accessible colleagues, transparency, and office space. Able to take leadership in your work with the freedom to plan your own schedule and methods.

Cons

As a summer intern, work was as demanding as hoped. Many of the current employees also do not have extensive experience (3+ years) with the company, largely due to the corporation's young age.

Pros

I would recommend this company as a stepping stone to start off your career. Get six months experience and then you will be ready to move on.

Cons

If you want a job that recognizes your work experience and higher education, then I would suggest that you look elsewhere. The company plays favorites and takes care of the employees that they like. Please note that they do not like people of Jewish ancestry , so if you decide to work there, never tell them or else you will regret it. The pay is very low and stagnant. You will never be able to support yourself if you work there, unless you like to shop for all of your clothing and furniture in thrift stores and eat ramen every night for dinner. Just saying. At first I was very excited to be working for a start up company, but as time went on I realized that no one knows what they are doing, so they like to place blame on others. Wayfair and I have different values. I am presently looking for a new job that I am better qualified for since Wayfair is not interested in keeping a tenured employee by giving me a promotion and a raise.
