In my opinion the company grew too big too fast for its own good. There seems to be so many gaps in processes because either no one thinks it's their job to do something or there is an employee who wasn't trained properly to know their full responsibilities. Wayfair needs to invest more in cross training between departments so people can understand just what it is everyone does.
The pay is also very low in comparison to the industry standard. Hearing from people outside the company who work similar jobs and similar hours makes it painfully obvious that Wayfair is lagging behind. This also causes people to use the company as a stepping stone to move onto better and higher paying jobs after spending a year or so with them.
