Pros

The benefits are really good: health care, life insurance, You get to see early screenings of movies. You have easy access to enter/leave the Warner Brother's lot. It's not uncommon to see movie stars or filming during my lunch break. The cafeteria is cheap and tasty. Overall, it's a nice culture.

Cons

The pay is low compared with other companies. Upward movement seems happen very slowly

Pros

Matching 401K contributions up to 6%. Tuition reimbursement, various discounts and access to learning programs. Depending on your position and/or department you can end up living in a bubble of wonder and amazement (see other reviews here). Unfortunately, for the most part, this is all naivety. On the other hand if you're a barley competent yes man with no opinions or in-depth knowledge you'll go far. Or, if you're a lazy schlub that doesn't mind wasting time at the whim of your boss then this can be a somewhat easy job; of course, this does depend on what department you're in.

Cons

Terrible decision making at all levels of management. Management has no accountability and seems to lack basic decision making skills (i.e., common sense). Tons of cronyism. No accountability. People choose politics and would rather play the blame game then to do what's right/obvious. More time is spent on figuring out how to point the finger than it is on solving problems. Many departments are infested with incompetent temps and consultants. Pay is not that great, yearly increases are pathetic. If you get 3% consider it a miracle.
