Pros

One Exchange (Formerly Extend Health) provides excellent Medicare and Healthcare education to those employees interested in learning all that they can. We have a wonderful customer base with new client companies coming on every year. Most employees are interested in learning the most they can and providing the world class customer service that is expected. If a prospective employee was concerned about working at a job where there is a ceiling to what you can learn and achieve, they should look into a position at One Exchange the would never get bored or run out of positions to work up to. Training is probably the very best in the industry!

Cons

The rewards and talent pay could defiantly use some upward adjustment the benefits could be better.

Pros

- Compensation was above-average - Training opportunities were excellent - Ability to work on the most prestigious, complex clients on a daily basis - Exposure to the world of consulting is something that is applicable to just about any path you wish to pursue - Very flexible work schedule - Ability to work from home when needed

Cons

- Too much emphasis on billable hours; hours targets are unrealistic unless you continue to work outside the office and on weekends - Spend too much time putting out fires and not enough time concentrating on the task at hand - Bonus opportunities are lacking... not much of an incentive to put in additional hours after you hit your hours target because there's very little upside opportunity - It's a bit of an "old boy's club" - most of the good opportunities and promotions seem to go to the favorites rather than the most dedicated and hard-working.

Pros

Benefits are competitive. 401k match is below market.

Cons

Coworkers lie, backstab and ruin others reputations, so they can earn their commissions and save themselves from their own mistakes. Leadership promotes favorites - nepotism is everywhere You are treated like a robot - given orders, asked to be quiet and do what you are told. No worklife balance - I was expected to work on Christmas day every year. No professional development training whatsoever. Salary is 30% below what other employers in the area offer.
