Great company before merger, but still good now

Pros

Colleagues are professional and smart. Reputation has already been built up, especially in the Exec Comp field. Top pay among peer companies, but definitely require top performance.

Cons

Legacy Towers Perrin has a different culture with Legacy Watson Wyatt. After merger, there's culture conflict when team members are from two legacies. Also there's a organizational restructuring which does not bring any good to integration.

Pros

Got a lot of experience - trial by fire. Some good people who want to see people grow. Some great clients.

Cons

Unmanageable workload, too many systems, low pay, raises and bonuses went to the "favorites" who didn't earn them. Prefer to hire from outside rather than promote from within.
