I was part of the building science team. Energetic and driven young group; many smart engineers; CEO was from the former MMM and seemed approachable and wise.

Cons

Still a strong culture of legacy company at the Yonge/Eglinton office; company is constantly acquiring so constant change but very poor communication from leadership about decisions - they communicate matters after they happen so you don't feel part of the company; boys club and have hard time listening to women; no diversity in the office makes for an ignorant group who does not welcome those who don't fit a mold; aggressive and arrogant engineering mentality; i'm pretty sure i wasn't paid accurately; benefits were standard nothing special. too many men at the top.

Big company, in theory you can easily relocate if you want

Cons

Horrible management, hr does nothing about unfair practices. 3% cost of living rais3, regardless of how well you do your job. Raises actually given out before your prefromance review is done, so not quite sure what it is based on. So many of my coworkers are job hunting.
