Pros

*this is for the gearing department only* -Decent place to work if all you care about is getting a check. -If you are lazy this is the place for you. -You have an attendance issue? This is the place for you! You will never get fired for attendance. -If you can't learn how to do your job even after being here for over a year this is the place for you. -Feel lazy? The next job is too big and heavy? Don't want to work on a high quantity build? Don't worry you can nit-pick the easiest job build even though jobs are supposed to be done in a specific order you wont get any consequences for it.

Cons

-management lets the crappy workers do whatever they like including missing at least one to multiple days a week, every week for 6+ months with no consequences. (not exaggerating) -Management is fine having employees who have been there over a year and still don't know how to perform their job even though they do the same thing every day. -Everybody gets the same raise no matter if you are the laziest person or the best worker. The same goes for a person who only knows how to do 1 thing vs someone who can do everything. No need to learn anything because they will not reward you for having more knowledge of your work. -you will get used if you are a good worker. -expect a lot from good workers and expect very little from sorry workers but will not give you any raises for it. Raise is not based on performance so no need to work hard or learn anything. Just act like you don't get it and you will get a free paycheck. -no point of coming in to work every day like you suppose to when majority of the gearing tech take at least a day or two off every week. -No growth in the shop. Dead end job unless you get transfer to the office.
