Pros

Very progressive and dynamic company where you have the unique opportunity to collaborate and contribute as part of a team of some of the brightest minds in the Cloud computing field. Additionally I enjoyed being an influencer, and felt my contributions and hard work were recognized by both my peers and the Senior Leadership team. The company definitely valued and respected the concept of work/life balance, and continually reviewed my workload to make sure I had the right tools, support, and necessary resources to get the mission at hand accomplished. I worked in the Cloud Service and Delivery team. The working hours were pretty flexible, and the advantage of working from home definitely was a major plus. My boss always made himself accessible, and was standing by to provide the extra support whenever it was needed.

Cons

Definitely need to have the ability to multitask, organize and possess strong communications skills.

High energy/high performance work place and workforce

Pros

High energy/high performance work place and workforce - Not for the faint of heart and an entrepreneurial spirit definitely a plus Collaborative team - Incredibly smart people ridiculously willing to share their knowledge to help you develop your own skills and domain knowledge Visible brand - Generating some serious buzz in the industry Strong leaders - Business acuity, technical chops and enough gray hair to lead in a very aggressive market Opportunity for advancement – Very little politics and bureaucracy. Consistently good work is recognized and rewarded Salary and benefits very competitive. Some added benefits: Business casual dress (in offices), wellness program and telecommuting options (for some roles)

Cons

Communication from top-level management is consistent and timely – middle management information flow could use improvement so plan to be proactive in your communications Work life balance can be tough if your definition of it is strictly from 9-5. If this is not your definition, it does actually balance - you just need to be reasonably flexible.
