      Pros

      - Good pay and excellent bonus potential (both years paid out above target). - Great comprehensive benefits and PTO that start day 1. - Outstanding new US parental leave benefit (8 weeks + 6-8 weeks of STD Fully Paid). - Opportunities to advance within the Opco, platform or Danaher are plentiful for those who seek them out. - Learning DBS offers common language and skills to advance your career. - Unique results driven culture with genuine focus on associate engagement and development. - Free on-site gym and subsidized cafeteria (Wood Dale HQ).

      Cons

      - Lean company requires you to wear many hats and juggle many demands which can create a challenging workload. - Organization is constantly changing and moves at a fast pace, which can make it difficult to keep up.

      Very good company to work for

      Pros

      * Company has regular "kaizens" to debate and propose solutions to concerns for continuous improvement. * Doesn't hurt to work for the largest brand in the industry: job security, in the sense that the company isn't under any real business threat for the foreseeable future. * Legitimately has the best overall package for customers in the industry (see CONS) * A logical, even-handed 3-D perspective to employee management and evaluations. In other words, evaluations are not simply measured along IF A THEN B lines. Instead, standards-of-work and root-cause-analysis is used during evaluations of each metric, provide a more realistic optic of an employee's efforts. * GREAT pay and benefits. Videojet is NOT stingy with employee compensation. * Company seems genuinely interested in employee satisfaction. * I get the impression that Videojet engages is less micro-management than others in the industry (although admittedly this can largely be manager-dependent)

      Cons

      * Some metrics are not designed to be attainable (see PROS). Although this can merit a "close-enough" mentality, that can be a little strange to cope with for some personality types. * Some metrics appear to be arbitrary * Corporate change is extremely slow, likely attributed to the size of the company and its standing in the industry. * A very risk-averse company with regards to customer needs and employees * Products and Services are sold at a premium vs. the competition. Although this is not necessarily bad in-and-of-itself, it sometimes prevents business opportunities from ever emerging with smaller companies. * Internal communication is the weakest point. This is not to say it is "ugly", "domineering", or "hostile." Rather, it is often "non-existant".

      Pros

      Salary & incentives good, Danaher policy good, sports & other activities, picnic arrangement, team lunch & dinner, work in so much pressure.

      Cons

      No personal life while working here, don't get leaves approved & it will laps after a year won't even get pay for pending leaves, very partial, no value for employees who work on extreme level for the growth of company, selfish seniors. Non Co operative seniors.
