Pros

great pay great benefits available overtime great work atmoshpere the network newest technology safe workplace always busy economy proff business great commision payout ESN days

Cons

Verizon is a great place to work and you can really make some good money there. The downside is that it is very hard to balance work and family. Due to the high demand of the business you may work 60+hrs a week and are forced to work on your day off or work 12-14hr days and only 1 weekend off per mon and you can hang up getting off on any holidays, but you will have a nice paycheck. I never see my husband or kids but I do make enough to were my husband can stay home with kids and I can buy them whatever they want or need.

Pros

The pay compared to other retail positions is excellent. Top Sales Reps make over $80k annually, which is more than several managers. Aggressive behavior is highly rewarded, and the ability to move up (or at least laterally) within the company is always present.

Cons

Going through a formalization period, which means redundancy and beurocracy. If you are not in sales, the job is hellish. Additional mandates are placed on the customer service/retail operations staff on what seems like a weekly basis without additional reward or compensation. Verizon Wireless states that it has a commitment to customer service, but what they mean is they will encourage the customer service/sales reps to do everything they can for the customer, while making it increasingly more difficult to do. It makes the days draining.

Pros

-Well organized program with volunteer activities and speakers arranged for interns. -The hours were good, and the pay was pretty good for interns. -Free gym access for interns and a softball league to play in. -Nice building. Free parking.

Cons

-No clear segue from internship to full time job. It would be nice for there to be some sort of link.
