      Pros

      Good pay, excellent benefits, financially stable company with a solid product line and high quality service, excellent training programs, solid company reputation.

      Cons

      Out of touch with customers, poor leadership--VZW has started operating under a knee-jerk reaction/panic attack mentality, zero work/life balance. Inconsistent and unorganized HR.

      Pros

      You get paid every two weeks and it's close to where i live. Very good network. The Insurance dental/vision are decent compared to other large companies. 401k is good.. Ability to work from home. Annual bonus.

      Cons

      No pension. Benefits cut every year. Multiple layoffs each year. People forced to train their H1B replacements. Very little chance to move between groups or advance skill sets. In IT most new hires are non US. Very little vision of IT. IT functions on chaos - there is very little vision or direction. Too much management leads to red tape and plenty of political battles, wasted effort and wasted $$.

      Pros

      Having been in a customer service roll for the past five years, Cellco treats their employees well. Right out of training team and leadership skills are practiced with your immediate work group and supervisor. Employee perks are a plus.

      Cons

      Unrealistic sales quotas, it's not possible to "keep pushing the bar" with current economic situations. Especially these past two years.
