Pros

Good benefits. Lots of inclusion.

Cons

Underpaid for the work they expect from us. Working in 7 different systems simultaneously and with banking and technical info yet they pay you 17.50 and hr and no raises for extended amounts of time if at all. They want you to perform to a high standard bit they won't pay equally to the standard that they expect. Everything is based off a script that sounds terrible and customers get instantly upset when there is nothing agents can do to do the right thing for the user which means you are feeling like crap with the inability to actually help the user.

Great colleagues, poor leadership!

Pros

Fun product, wonderful & smart colleagues, good benefits

Cons

Sadly majority of the true rockstars have already left Venmo, and for good reason! Leadership within Venmo is poor, there are constant reorgs moving people around which creates zero stability, lack of transparency between leaders and the broader team, and no work life balance. Recommend to avoid working here unless there is either a change in management or management changes themselves. The current leaders are often times unreasonable, make you feel like you’re indispensable and just a resource, and do not value culture.
