Pros

-They pay for Internet -Benefits are decent -Remote work

Cons

-Phones are the most of your day. Back to back. No breaks in between. If you take longer than 2 minutes to finish up your notes and take your next call your numbers take a hit. - You are expected to take 4-5 chats at a time, and hold complete and coherent conversations with each person at a time. Again, if you take longer than 2 minutes to reply to any given chat you are numbers take a hit. - They only care about mental health if you are not in the Customer Service side of things. If you work as a developer or on the business side of the company, I imagine they are very happy with things as they are. They aren't being whipped to move faster and take more contacts. They get paid a decent wage. -Your Team Lead is doing what they can to keep themselves employed. They are not given the tools or opportunities to help you. You can voice your concerns about everything all you want, but it will NEVER go anywhere. My Team Lead at one point told everyone that, "It may be best to consider if you may be happier elsewhere." They can't say anything else, because your valid concerns about being pushed to work more and more until you lose your sanity will never be heard or addressed by the company. -During the beginning of the pandemic, Customer Service was expected to come to the office and work, even with the spread and increasing cases. However, developers and business-side employees were given the option to work from home if they wanted too. For their safety and wellbeing. They do care about anyone in the Customer Service side at all. You are expendable and if you don't want to work there they will find someone who can. -You are micromanaged every moment of the day. God forbid you take a 5 minute breather, or run over to the bathroom outside of break. Those are minutes you could be taking your next call. -I knew the person who was ranked 2nd in Customer Service agents and productivity. They were previously being looked at for a promotion to Team Lead before Paypal really dug their claws in. When time came for yearly bonuses do you know what this top performer received? $0.25. During a year when Paypal/Venmo stock's were on the rise and profits were at a record high. They had the audacity to say there was "not a lot of money in the budget for bonuses this year for anyone." When they had record profits during the lockdown and we were busier than ever. Someone saw that money, but it won't be you. This should tell you all you need to know about working here. Short answer, don't work here.

Pros

Nice co-workers Bar Swag bags Yearly Bonus Remote working Fun office environment

Cons

Everything that I just named above for Pro's? ARE ALL GONE! You get a yearly bonus every year and a HALF now. No more of anything that made working here easy. Since we are now permanently remote they want you to devote your LIFE to being yelled at over the phones and you never get a "good job" for anything only criticism from invasive management. No room to grow. You get a new supervisor every month because the turn over rate is so high. There are people that worked here for 5 years and are still in the same spot. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere unless you're a college student or looking for quick cash.

Pros

Venmo is a fun, easy product I’ve used for years. We’re operating at a scale beyond our competitors.

Cons

Focused on short term growth rather than long term fundamentals. Continuous turnover leads to unfocused deliveries.
