      Promotion of Incompetence: Managerial promotions irrespective of capability or past failures. Lack of managerial suitability despite expertise in specific product lines and/or processes. Unsound Decision-Making: Committing to short-term, nonsensical contractual obligations. Arbitrary deadlines causing excessive work hours for engineers. Executive Leadership Issues: Disconnection between executives and productive teams. Prioritizes red tape and the loudest voices/teams while overlooking productivity of stable/steady teams. Dependency Bottlenecks: High volume of complex dependencies among project teams; requires manual coordination. Lack of Vision: Absence of a clear, overarching vision beyond shipping products. Neglecting long-term growth strategies for Venmo. Persistent Low Morale: Continual dissatisfaction and low morale amongst employees.
