Pros

The company offices are nice and elegant and there are nice perks and benefits (company phone, fully stocked kitchen, etc)

Cons

On the technological front, many of the team leaders are not skilled enough to be able to lead their team forward, and as a result the entire company is stuck behind with outdated technology and terrible practices. The talented employees that try to make a change are quickly shut down and demoralized. But at the end of the day, Varonis' biggest flaw is that the management simply doesn't care about its employees. The management views the employees as resources, and are constantly treating people in inappropriate ways. There is hardly any human interaction that isn't work related. They lead through fear and intimidation and are constantly expecting the employees to put in extra time. They are always looking for ways to 'self improve', by finding methods to squeeze more work out of the employees, with absolute disregard to their personal time and development. In Varonis, you're a number, nothing more. You're expected to come in and do as much work as possible, with every intention to keep you in the office for as long as possible. It's not uncommon for the management to call after work hours and during weekends for 'critical help', to declare a 'major issue' at 6pm that 'must be fixed today', or to force employees to work on their sick days. They plan work for 200% and blame the delays on the employees for not working hard enough, and they don't prioritize tasks - instead, everything is categorized as urgent and must be done today, as a way to force people into constantly working overtime. Those are all day-to-day common tactics, used for the sole reason to squeeze as much as possible out of the employees. The entire work environment is very hostile, insulting and untrusting. It is simply not a place were you feel valued and motivated. Instead, it's a place where you feel like a terrified mouse, constantly running at full speed inside the wheel. If you're looking for a place where your opinion will be sought and respected, where you will have a chance to grow and improve and where you will be able to put in great work, you're looking at the wrong company.
