Pros

This is a company that has grown extremely fast and had to overcome some growing pains, but is a great place to work and build a career. The products they sell are the best in the market and there's excellent opportunity for the company to grow. A company is really only as good as it's values, and Varonis transparently values intelligence, hard work, integrity, and performance. Those who don't fit that mold tend to leave or be dissatisfied. Those that do are celebrated, promoted, and rewarded. Most of the managers, especially senior ones, have grown along with the company, which is a testament to it being a meritocracy. If you work hard, listen well, and speak your mind, you will be rewarded. How you perform is the single most important quality by which you're measured, which means that if you're competent, you'll be given the opportunity to grow and advance. The benefits are generally excellent and for many roles the company is very flexible about where and how you work - just do your job well. This isn't true for all positions, but is for many. Senior managers are focused on improvement, for themselves, their teams, and the company as a whole and it's products. Smart people who want to make changes can here - good ideas are leveraged wherever they come from.

Cons

Because many managers were not experienced as managers at first, there have been growing pains, but these have largely disappeared as the company has matured over the last couple of years. It's true that some roles are exceedingly metrics-driven, and sometimes the methods behind the madness aren't transparent to everyone and it can feel like needless micromanagement. Finally, a culture of over-achievement can leave some feeling like they either have to work until they drop or fall behind their peers.

Pros

If you're really driven to be a sales rep, they have a very competitive environment and tons of training, and a decent commission structure.

Cons

Overly competitive, more concerned with making cold calls than putting the work in on the back end to call the right people with the right problem.

Pros

There is certainly a lot of room for growth. The best thing about the organization is that they promote from within and do not look for outsiders for mid-level management positions and higher.

Cons

There are not a lot of details that are disclosed for the long term vision for department. Department outlook is unclear/changing for lower level employees.
