As over all Valeo Work life balance is good

Cons

Poor managerial role by VITC management. Threatening the employees. Bureaucratic management. Valeo policies were completely neglected. On account of this scenario we lost more than 15 experienced employees in the last 8months

Although Cairo is considered from the top SW sites in Valeo worldwide yet this is not reflected in the salaries. In Germany for instance the salary for a sw Engineer is almost 2800 EUROs Yet in Egypt the salary of an Engineer is about 700 EUROs The difference is huge plus with the latest inflation of the Egyption pound it has become very hard to sustain the same lifestyle as before as all GOODS and commodities prices have gone up and the salary just can't keep up with it.

Valeo is a great company but

Cons

Some of the long-term HR employees lack motivation and don't like to see other employees progress. They lack change management and leadership. Very poorly organised HR team. Old ways of thinking and acting. Zero abilitiy to implement objectives and coach teams. All round disgruntled HR team.
