Pros

1. Good company if you are a fresher. You will engage in hands on work experience.

Cons

There are many. Lets see each one of them. 1. No growth. No growth. No growth. 2. Unpaid overtime. Overall pay is less when you compare other employers in the area. Hourly guys are employed with big promises, most of them leave the job in a month or two due to long hours, hot and humid conditions inside the plant. 3. There are too many stakeholders for any activity. No one will communicate what is expected from you. No training provided. You learn as you stay in your job. 4. Poor Top Management and HR. No motivation from any of these main departments. 5. No basic minimum infrastructure for the Seymour location. No parking space. Not enough restrooms. No clean break rooms. Half of the appliances in the break rooms are broken. Parking spots are converted into storage areas. 6. You pay for the coffee. Terrible frozen food options onsite. 7. Not a single team building activity to boost the morale of a team who work tirelessly. 8. I was lucky, I resigned and moved to another company at the start of 2020, from what I heard recently, they fired almost 100 people without any intimation. Everone was asked to consume their vacations before they were laid off.

Pros

Health insurance, 401K match, interesting products, engineering colleagues are kind and helpful

Cons

Training is little to nonexistent. At least when I started there was no training period where you learned about the different products, how to work with them, or how to use Valeo systems and tools. If you're a function owner you'll be expected to write requirements for products but there was no training on the correct way to write the requirements or the approval process for them. The pay could be better. I have a female colleague who has the same title and position as me whose starting pay is less than what I started at over 3 years ago. She technically had more experience than I did as she started as an intern and I only started right out of college. Interns are performing the role of function owners Working weekends is not an uncommon thing for some teams unfortunately
