      Is life really thrilling at Valeo in México or do you become an instrument to make policy?

      Pros

      You get constantly challenged. You get the opportunity to build your teams. Day-after-day self-training is always available. You get to work with very interesting people from all over the world.

      Cons

      Management has no time to coach and share experience or to help when problems arise. Turnover rate (real one) is very high, so there are not many mentors. Real training has been substituted by e-learning. Not enough budget is dedicated to train managers. Career paths are defined but very rarely followed-up by HR. Salaries are low. Work pressure is nor compensated by an acceptable work-life balance. Recognition for achievements is null.

      Pros

      You will have more opportunities to explore your technical knowledge.

      Cons

      Don't believe the HR team for what they offered during the interview time. Always make sure you should get all those conformation via email. There will be a 1 Year service level agreement. But the HR team will not inform you anything on this. You will only know this from your offer letter. And when you this to HR they will say they have informed this to your job consultancy. But they will never inform this to job consultancy. Few of my colleagues came to know about the 1 year agreement on their joining day only. I have lost the trust to HR team.

      Pros

      Provides equal opportunity for all applicants Provides very good training programs and induction programs for fresh graduates

      Cons

      High turnover rate in the company which results in a problem in number of good mentors available. The site in Cairo is "offshore" site which makes it always supplementary part not a fundamental part of the project. Technicality level is not very good on the long term. No career opportunities on the long term (after 5 years).
