Pros

Some great folk willing to help anytime. Canteen is handy. Products are interesting. No traffic.

Cons

Where do you even start? Incompetent HR brushing all problems under the carpet. Daft policies. Thankless work. People leaving in droves for better things. Huge brain drain. More managers than engineers. More supervisors and glorified group leads than operators. Terrible old outdated ideology and even the "offices" (prefabs) Super hierarchical. Toxic at times. Money is well below average. No real benefits. Actual dump of a stoney car park. Craters in the grounds that WILL damage peoples personal cars

Pros

The people you work with

Cons

Bullying culture that is completely endorsed by Management and HR Blame culture - have to blame the lowest operators because management cant do their jobs Equal Opportunity employer? Thats a joke - its not WHAT you know - its WHO you know. Had an interview and BEFORE it took place I was told by people OUTSIDE of the company that X already knows they have it. Essentially X was told that if they go for the job, its theirs. Even with half the experience of others who went for it. Engineers too busy to fix problems on the floor People leave and they're not replaced. Management expect less people to do the same workload as before. Management don't listen to floor operators. When the company have lectures (aka "Communication session") they deliberately schedule them so that there is zero time for questions from the operators. When this issue was brought up, they ignored it. Zero thanks and recognition All benefits for staff are geared towards Dayshift. And mainly office staff - majority of things are not available for floor ops; let alone evening or nightshift ops.

Pros

I just had to fill this

Cons

* Uses visas to hire cheap labors. Pays them less and forces them to work for more than 8 hours and on weekends. * Teams during discussion randomly starts talking in their native language and the management doesn't stop them. * No research going on and none of the managers seems interested in taking up this responsibility * Favoritism, poor management and unplanned projects is destroying Valeo Troy
