Pros

Epic pass at no cost to the employee. You can get the hours if you're willing to work.

Cons

A Walmart type atmosphere. CEO seems disillusioned with what Vail resorts is about. Bad pay scale. It's a business, they dot hide that and they're certain that that I your number 1 priority. Not safety, not customer experience, business. Management has little to no field experience.

Pros

The beautiful environment of working and living in the mountains. An annual ski season pass and discount coupons for friends and family. Employee housing when available.

Cons

They get very cheap labor from many highly educated college graduates for menial jobs and imply that advancement is possible. Doesn't happen.

Pros

Living in vail makes up for most of the negatives. The people and culture is fun. There is always something to do. It is also relatively easy to get hired as there are always so many positions opening up.

Cons

There is not an overwhelming feeling that upper management cares for the staff. It is as the revolving door of employees is not only expected but preferred to keep salaries low.
