      Fun times, but at a price, especially depending what department you're in

      Pros

      Fantastic season of snow and great resorts to ride! I loved my department (Activities and Dining), and the lower-level management/direct supervisors were very friendly, respectful and accommodating but heard from others that management/conditions was not so great in theirs.

      Cons

      Not enough compensation. I'd love to stay on for a longer time but it's not a career option at what they pay the employees.

      Pros

      Working through Vail you will receive a ski pass, which is probably one of the better benefits of the job. Also, you are right on Peak 8 with multiple lifts right out the back door. Majority of the people you work with are very chill and kind. During the winter, you'll meet people from all over the US and the world, all looking to enjoy a winter on the mountain.

      Cons

      The pay is pretty poor and during the winter it is constantly busy and high pressure. There isn't a whole lot of training. they kind of show you through the system and around the property for a day or two and then throw you into the mix and expect you to learn as you go.
