Pros

The free ski pass is great. Now that an Epic pass is getting up to 700 dollars it almost made the entire job worth it right there. Everyone is in a really great mood all the time.

Cons

The pay could be better. Ski towns are expensive so the inflation should be taken into account for the wage as well. If it wasn't for the amazingly low gas prices for this season (2014/15) I would be just scraping by. Red flag parking days suck. parking at all the resorts needs to be improved for both guests and employees

Pros

You work in the mountains with people who love being outdoors.

Cons

It is impossible to make $ ends meet. Consequently there is a constant revolving door of new employees. It is common knowledge that the corporate culture is one of apathy towards employees. There will always be a new crop of young people to fill the mountain jobs. Unfortunately they leave when they quickly realize there is no future for them.

The company strives to fulfill the "Experience of a Lifetime" for its guests. Benefits include season lift tickets across all resorts and company discounts.

Cons

Seasonal employees are treated as disposable and upper management lacks leadership across corporate and seasonal ranks. Compensation is lower than market standard due to the fact the company takes advantage of its employees.
