You get to ski a LOT Benefits are pretty good Pay is OK, don't let it fool you. Great job for anyone who loves skiing/snowboarding/outdoors

Cons

You MIGHT work insane hours Work life balance is a delusional thought Management can be a revolving door Culture will vary from resort to resort, even department to department Time overall was great but it's very easy to get sucked into and stay for too long. Be very careful if you have ambitions/ be careful what you're good at. Like any other manual labor job, if you show your cards too early, they will take advantage of your kindness and your willingness to work.

Flexibility was great. We were given the opportunities to work as much as you wanted if you really wanted as long as there was a need. People who wanted to free ski instead of working could.

Cons

The Vail resorts machine has started to create monsters of the customers. The opportunities for full time, year round work is extremely limited/non-existent. Job opportunity was great, but no to much as a career path
