Great culture even though there has been some executive changes lately. Flexible environment and great technology.

Remove some of the internal processes and red tape. Break down the barriers between divisions.

Cons

VMware was once a great company, but its time as an industry leader has long since passed after years of declining market share. Now it's a typical bay area (Silicon Valley) company with all of the associated flaws. Larger Fortune 50 customers are tired of cleaning up disasters caused by persistent, major product bugs which are never fixed. Condescending director was not impressive and there is little diversity at this site. Some employees have spent the majority of their careers here, which can stunt experience, perspective, perception, and creativity. The environment is cliquish and "collegiate". Disorganized workflow.
