Business Outlook
Pros
Salaries and benefits are great. Corporate culture is laid-back, not cultish like Google, not confrontational like Microsoft. You're not expected to work 12 hours a day. Stock options were a good reason, but not so much anymore with the collapse in the stock price. Politics is mostly absent here; you get promoted on ability, not ass-kissing.
Cons
The plummeting stock price. Chaotic management changes. Parking nightmares. Too much isolation between groups; there are some groups which are off completely in their own universe and are in dire need of some heavy-handed technical cleanup, but there is nobody with the authority or desire to do so. The cafeteria at HQ sucks.
