Business Outlook
Pros
The positives are quite compelling. Work is rarely more than 40 hours a week, I can work from home whenever I want, I can work whatever hours I want, I have been compensated above market average (both in terms of salary, bonus, and stock), and my manager gives me a lot of latitude. Like I said: quite compelling!
Cons
However... the cons are quite unsettling. There's been a distinct lack of interesting projects, a change in strategy/direction seemingly every few weeks, a culture of rampant politics and mistrust from the top down, and virtually no career advancement. Further, it's a VERY deep management structure, with seemingly gratuitous layers of management inserted whimsically.
