      Pros

      The environment is very casual with t-shirts, shorts, and "flip-flops" being very common. Everyone there is highly knowledgeable with different strengths. Very collaborative. Good benefits (not the best I've had). Free snacks and drinks for employees with Friday afternoons usually catered. No micro management.

      Cons

      Customers can be very demanding and stress levels can rise quickly. Training is also not as available as it used to be and sometimes it feels like you learn how to "bandage" things. I think this to be a problem of the company's accelerated growth.

      Pros

      Great products and industry leadership; most employees are proud of the brand. Many talented people to work with; people are generally respectful of others Fast growing company offers relatively more advancement opportunities (depending on how well you can navigate through the chaos)

      Cons

      company going through growing pain; lot of internal system/process not in place, yet it's now a 10,000+ people company; Chaotic place to work at; employee morale very bad in certain groups; some talents may not get best utilized here if you are not in the right team. it's not a place for everyone.

      Pros

      Flexible, Challenging, Rewarding, Autonomous, Potential for Impact, Visibility, Respect, Team Oriented, Fiscally responsible, aggressive, encouraging, technically aggressive and on the cutting edge of technology, remaining motivated to maintain market position and continue to develop new and emerging products that solve business issues for our customers.

      Cons

      They could use some work on back end systems/reporting/applications, etc. With as fast as we are growing it is hard to keep up with the explosive growth. On-boarding was a bit of a "welcome to VMware" and then off you go into the Abyss of work. But highly functional, motivated, experienced consultants should have no problem maintaining motivation and quickly get up to speed and find the right people to reach out to.
