Pros

VMware has great cutting edge and leading technology. It has bright and enthusiastic engineers. Great place to learn new technology. Executive level people are doing great growing the company. The technology itself is growing the company.

Cons

Directors and middle management people are not so good. They mainly manage by fear and retaliate if an employee says no. A lot of them have been promoted because of their time with the company and because they are in the club, where they feed each other.

The place has very good technology and is driven through wonderful top level leadership. It gives good benefits and compensation

Cons

There is room for improvement in terms of management essp the mid level and can do better if in case there is better work coming in to Bangalore

Had been very good and innovative company still with good reputation In the hot techinical areas Top management, especially CEO has good visions.

Cons

1. A lot of politics, not so many people care about real work and products 2. Smart and hardworking engineers are leaving or going to leave. 3. No career growth by doing good work and contributions. 4. Poor middle magament layer. Manager/directors do not know how to manage people and projects.
