Pros

My review is very specific to Vmware GSS Bangalore, Pros are many things to learn , excellent facilities provided by company. Infrastructure is simply awesome.

Cons

uffff, where to start, VMware has 2 sides, 1 out side VMware GSS and another inside Vmware GSS. Outside GSS its definitely the place to be, but within GSS amount of work we are expected to do is like worst than even a bonded labour, there is so much pressure inside the GSS bangalore, you feel like your head is about to explode. IF you are joining Bangalore GSS , just totally forget the work life balance, there is nothing called as work life balance in VMware GSS, they only got big long speech about it but nothing in action. Leaves? forget it, at GSS they have some managers, they are not even fit to run a local stationary shops, and they are leading teams with people from different domain with some extra-ordinary skills. We have a manager who says for you to take sick leave, you must first come to office and he will see how sick you are ( as if this idiot is doctor ) and if he feels you are sick then you will get leave , if not you will not get leave. take that for a manager . coming to work load, they literally think troubleshooting VMware is just as easy as 1, 2, 3 and you are done, management has no idea what technology they are expecting the people to work on and how damn complicated it is.you are expected to handle like 8-10 cases everyday , that if you are lucky, sometime more than that. and they dont seems to care if you say , you cant. Technology wise its best place to be at but work wise GSS is just a nightmare. My advise to anyone who wants join Vmware GSS or dreaming about it , join only if you are ready to sacrifice your personal life , peace of mind and ready to get frustrated and loose hopes of living a normal life and you want to see logs even in your dreams, then join. If you are prepared to see hell on planet earth , its nowhere else but in GSS bangalore.

Pros

None whatsoever, the product has potential but with such a low priority on QA its just a waste. This company is a disaster on all levels!

Cons

A company with no moral standards and an unethical management that lies, spreads rumors around the office, harasses employees and writes fake reviews on Glassdoor to desperately try to boost the average score and save face before VMware. A CEO who couldn't care less about how his company is doing now that the only goal of being acquired is attained and he can cash out. An incompetent and useless HR department whose only function is to dance to the tune of the MD and try to bully employees into silence!

Pros

Nice MDM/Content-management feature. Nice Products. Nice Business skill

Cons

-Don't think about appreciate if you are not Manhattan employee or if you are not in group of people. - You wil not get valued by your work. - Selected people will get good chance for POC and Patent. - There are atleast 1-2 spy people inside whole team. - Don't think about B1/H1 visa or annual award or Hackathon winner. Its all scripted. - Worst Stat level politics, people are using "state-language" in communication. - Worst QA, I ever seen. - Senior QA's are crapy politician. - They don't have value for their words and promise.
