Pros

- Open dialogue is encouraged with everyone at the company (including upper management & executive team) - Customer-driven - Excellent benefits (including catered lunch!) - Low-ego environment - Actively promote a culture that is inclusive of all viewpoints - Work/life balance is a priority - Solving interesting problems for users - Often on the bleeding edge

Cons

- The rate of growth can be dizzying at times - Internal dev processes haven't scaled as fast as I'd like

Pros

1. Working on something that matters and changes the lives of many independent game developers 2. Open culture. You believe the CEO is wrong? You can raise it, and you will be heard 3. Very supportive company. Everything that you need to have a better life and be more performant will be available for you right away 4. Many many many perks: free lunch and drinks, transport subsidies, gym subsidies, training sessions, many social events, Hackweeks (in Denmark)

Cons

Depending on your role, you may observe many changes in the direction of your team., since the company is dealing with cutting-edge technologies and demands are changing. I guess it can be both pro or con.

Pros

A company that thrives on "trying stuff" and "getting your hands dirty". There are very few hierarchy levels and you have a clear sense of what your purpose is. The execs walk the talk and of the vision statement every day: "Democratize game development" and "Solve hard problems".

Cons

Rapid growth can be messy, but never boring.
