Pros

There isn't much to say here.

Cons

- Toxic and blaming culture. Your managers will not hesitate to throw you under the bus. This is not an isolated incident and it has happened to me and others on different teams. - Bait and switch hiring tactic. HR and recruiters will blatantly lie to get you to sign an offer. It's very common to see engineers forced to work on something that they didn't sign up for. - So many fake reviews posted by HR. You don't have to look to hard to spot them. - All work and no life. - Unity is not invested in its employees. They don't care about your career and personal growth. This is reflected in their performance review process which only focuses on how much you have sacrificed for the company.

It’s hard for me to reply to this review and the other reviews you wrote. I can see you are angry and seem to be in pain, which troubles me. From time to time we have employees who find themselves on a team or project that they aren’t happy about. They go to their manager or if their manager is the problem they go to the next level leader, another leader, HR or even our CEO. Unity is a very approachable culture. I’m not sure why you don’t feel you can do that but encourage you to try it. I promise you if you reach out to me or even John, you will be listened to and get an immediate response. The conversation will be confidential. Unity is filled with examples of employees sharing what’s not working as well as what is. They are engaged in making it better. If you join one of our internal Slack channels and in the round tables you would see the tremendous passion from the employees both for our customers but also for our company. Massive passion and pride. It would be great if you can reach out so we can address your situation. Elizabeth Brown--Unity Head of HR

Pros

Free food, drinks and snacks. Employees who love the product.

Cons

* Blame culture. Managers who don't take responsibility for their actions and will throw direct reports under the bus. * No work life balance. Working long hours is not only uncommon but it's EXPECTED at Unity. * Career growth? Forget about it. Performance review process at Unity is terrible. * Fake reviews by HR and upper management.
