Cons

As a ramp supervisor, I am asked to do 5 individual jobs at once at my small airport, where at a larger airport they have several people for that.

You get to meet new friends and it’s a fun work environment. You also get some decent benefits and it’s unionized.

Cons

Underpaid for the hard work you do and Some managers will power trip. There will be lack of equipment at times. Operations is a mess. Can’t get their act straight. Some crews will get assigned 6+ flights during their shift while others do much less and sit around. There’s also a very strong hint of favouritism. Lunchroom is also a mess. People can’t throw their garbage out.
