Pros

-You get flight benefits, not nearly as good as an actual airline job, but still a good discount. -Some cool coworkers, and pretty diverse group of people across all ages and races, but I’ll go over why they’re a con as well.

Cons

-Low pay with little to no raises. -No overtime, you can’t even get a full 40 hours unless you pick up shifts which everyone is already trying to do, or work charter flights, which can hair at any point of the day or night. -Very very limited positions of leadership offering you to move up in the company. -Repetitive trainings every 2 weeks that are mandatory but where nothing is learned. -The workers who have been there for a while are comfortable and settled in. They receive more pay for doing less, even for doing almost nothing. The culture there is kind of toxic so you’re forced to keep to yourself as to not get caught in the crossfire of anything. There’s a lot of gossip among coworkers. -The leadership is a joke, especially the performance manager. The last performance manager was fired due to sexual harassment of the younger female hires and workers, which would probably explain why there’s a ton of female workers and lack of male workers there which they’re always in need of. The new one is now handling everything at the SLC station after basically pushing the longtime office admin out of here who helped a ton in the office. -They have audits randomly where an auditor will come in with a fake weapon to see if we catch it. Even when it’s the same auditor and everyone knows what he/she looks like when they see him, they still fail these audits. It’s the easiest job and easiest thing to do is catch a fake firearm or fake explosive, but for some reason someone always fails, and when one person fails, the whole SLC station fails. The SLC station has failed for almost 8 months straight and management from Atlanta are not happy. That’s a direct result of poor management and not putting the best employees and screeners in position to help the others.
