Pros

The work was challenging and your direct managers were pretty decent.

Cons

Upper management is extremely dishonest. So they tell you that Underarmour isn't for everyone when you start... honestly, it's not a place for people with self respect. If you really loved high school, then this is a place for you. If you continued to mature after you hit 18, you will be sorely disappointed. There are managers who love to yell at people in public because they are in a position of power and this is considered normal. I overheard more than my fair share of screaming matches, it's just part of the corporate culture. Management takes one of two approaches, they either avoid you entirely and complain about you behind your back or they turn in to schoolyard bullies. The pressure to devote your entire life to UA is overwhelming.

Pros

It's a job with benefits if you are full time.

Cons

This place is such a disappointment. It operates and feels like high school. Not sure how decisions or promotions are made. The lean is always male centric, and relationship based. Unfortunately, Kevin Plank has surrounded himself with yes men who have no clue how to actually get work done so they prance around acting like they are the ceo, shooting off demands, unearthly expectations, with no concern on how it translates. It's not a locker room and yet, KP's chosen lieutenant, who has never been more than a meager merchant, who has a napoleon complex has positioned the company with merchandise that would be an industry leader if it was 1995. In any other company the President of NA, who put the company in this dire position would be shown the door but not UA, instead KP and the Pres are fast friends. This is the formula of which KP built the company.
