Cons

You train them the USPS employees who are non-contractors. The supervisor even admitted to being a white supremacist. Another employee claimed to be off his medication and shouted for "Help". Another time, the employee brought in a long kitchen knife and began to cut lemons. USPS employees form discrimination gangs by entering into your personal affairs without your consent. The USPS employees committed a crime and did not get punished.

5 weeks leave Good insurance Union protection and raises Direct managers are often fantastic

Cons

Strict deadlines regardless of turnover lead to nonsensical staff assignments and overworked managers and team members. Additionally, union rules prevent experienced developers from being hired Low pay and only 2-3 promotion opportunities for developers Remote work was extended at the absolute last minute many times Mandatory 5% pension plan Old computers

Pros

I got to work with people that I graduated college with. Strict 40 hour work week. Union's no lay off clause. Pension. There are plenty of open position, because employees are running for the hills.

Cons

Facilities are in a state of decay. Payed way under industry standard. Returning to the office soon.
