Pros

Great co workers, decent pay, decent benefits. it is a multi-cultural work place. It allows people from all over the country, from all backgrounds a chance, regardless of education level. Does not judge anyone based on race, religion, or sexual identity.

Cons

Threat of privatization. Threat of corporate takeover. Sometimes the problem really does start at the top. Too many management ideas all going in different directions. Too much emphasis on getting the numbers right.

Pros

Great co-workers, good beneftis, opportunities to do temporary full time gigs if you are part time. Management where I was was very easy to communicate with....very forthcoming with praise where due.

Cons

USPS is in financial turmoil right now....did not feel good about my job security as a part-time employee with post office hours being cut in smaller areas where I worked.
