Pros
Great benefits programs in almost all dimensions. Pension, 401k with 5% (Very high) match, Great healthcare with numerous options. Hourly pay is reasonable. Some of the work is very low skill and not demanding.
Cons
Words can not explain how dumb and insane this place is and how the design of the job is pathetic from the start. As a PT flex I have no set schedule at all. I can work 24 hrs in a 2 week period or i can work 90. Think on that for a moment... at 90 hrs a week you cant have another job or do much at all. Yet at 12hr in a week you need another full time job?! Schedule is posted very late for the upcoming week. Zero notice is needed for a schedule change. And here is the worst rub... recently I have been working 11 3 to 4 hr split shifts. The average US commute is 23 min. 506 min or 8.5 hrs a week i spend driving to and from my job. They routinely dont pay you for hours worked. Miles driven in your personal vehicle, and actually tend to correct pay mistakes at all. Leadership really doesnt understand how to train or teach people anything.
