Disappointing

Business Outlook

Pros

Easy to pass hiring requirements

Cons

Less than satisfactory supervision & training; interviewing supervisor claimed a swing shift was available, but once on the job you realize you'll be working graveyard shift for some time; retirement isn't that good: only 4% match on investment account; can be very difficult physically especially for women, due to the one-ton+ containers of mail that you have to load and unload from your truck using the lift gate and your own strength

Pros

Dogs to pet. Sometimes short hours but still paid for full route (8 hours on average)

Cons

Lot of car expenses, bad weather, horrible management (at the time), part time working full time hours with no benefits
