Management Unfit to Serve

Pros

There are no pros involved when applying at USPS.

Cons

Imagine if you will, management shielded by decades of multidimensional bureaucracy that insures zero accountability for their actions short of setting the building on fire. These are the individuals in charge of deciding what hoops you have to jump through whether or not they're going to tell you to jump through the hoops and notifying you that you failed to jump through said hoops even though they never told you to go and jump through them in the first place. Then it gets bad and after that it gets worse. I don't recommend it.

Pros

Pay, 401k matches 5%, federal holidays off paid.

Cons

Overworked. Management, new RRECS evaluation system, salary changes every 6 months… up or down.
