Pros

Depending on the office you work out of, this job is generally low stress. While they do have to meet a time criteria on the contracted days, if you are called in to help on a route outside of contracted areas, this is not only optional, but you aren't limited to time constraints (within reason). You also make $0.97 a mile if you use your own vehicle outside of contracted hours for delivery.

Cons

No guaranteed hours outside of Sundays and Holidays, so while this shouldn't be your only job, it can be a good supplemental income. No advancement possible from this position, however you can apply to a different position to go full time. (Such as an RCA - Rural Carrier Associate.)
