Least favorite job
Pros
Fairly decent pay- it's shaky though given Taco Bell starts out at 17 to $22 an hour with vacation sick days 401K with employee contribution matching. As an RCA you do not receive 401K employee contribution matching Nor sick days and they just started vacation days. I guess they haven't started it yet. The contract was signed about 6 months ago. it normally takes a year to four years for them to put it into effect.
Cons
Health insurance is very poor No retirement as an RCA No sick days Expected to be available whenever needed although you don't know when you'll be needed You work every Saturday and a lot of offices work Sundays to deliver Amazon Expected to work holidays to deliver Amazon while not receiving holiday pay Rural side Union is the worst Union in any division of the post office especially for the RCA's You normally don't become full-time for at least 5 years. I've been there 6 years and haven't received full time yet. The lowest amount of time in my office was 5 years with the highest I know of being 15years.
