Pros
Decent pay and ever-changing surroundings.
Cons
Inhumane conditions that are above and beyond the tough conditions a mail carrier would normally face. Crews disallowed to sort packages and prepare parcel loads indoors with management and the heaters, but rather outside in what I experienced as low as 9*F (NINE degrees!) The LLV vehicles are constantly in demand and rarely are there enough for all carriers. Newer RCA's are forced to use their private vehicles. Hours are ridiculously long, days off are taken away readily, and RCA's work as many as 9 and 10 days in a row without options. The postmaster couldn't care less about the RCA's and the new-hires come and go quickly, filing through the facility at a furious rate through their ever-revolving door. A toxic environment.
