Pros

Our postmaster at this office, Eboni is the best you could ask for. Pay is great for what you do, you’re on evaluated time which can be a pro during slow seasons. We work together at our office for the greater good. Benefits are good too!

Cons

You have to work every Sunday and Saturday, which is unfortunate if you want a social life but it all works out.

- Pay isn't bad. - One day every two weeks might not be terrible. - Insurance even as part-time

Cons

- You will be working to the bone if your office does not have a lot of RCAs. 12 hour shifts, 6 days a week. I had no life outside of work. I would wake up, go to work, get home, eat, shower, and go to bed to repeat it the next day. - They will violate your union contract constantly. You can file all the grievances you want, they will not do anything, since the union hates RCAs.
