some of the people you work with are very nice.

Cons

The supervisors are called "postmasters" unfortunately the master part goes to there head more often than not.You have to get back in time to get the mail to the next truck.After a monday holiday you have 3 days of mail to sort and deliver.It can be very hot and very cold.The only way to get a rise is to change positions and then when you change positions, You get "re-hired" so that your start date is whenever you last changed position so that the postal service doesn't have to pay you retirement or benefits and can just pocket more money.

Regular hours, friendly coworkers, get to meet a lot of nice people on the route. All in all, if you like the outdoors and walking, it's a nice environment to be in.

Cons

Stormy weather, windy weather, and extreme heat are now your worst enemies. Prepare for the worst and it'll be fine.

Starting pay for me was 16.26 my co-workers are friendly and easy to get along with and tons of work to be done

Cons

Days off are almost unheard of even if you are a regular carrier your schedule is always up for change. lack of communication
