Pros

The interview process is rare. You dont have to formulate the STAR method or get asked scenario questions.

Cons

Not what it use to be as afar as the benefits and work entails. You work part time as a sub and build seniority which can take up to 1 yr to 10 or 11 yrs before you go full time (depending in the post office)..Must be on call literally all the time. If they see you want to work they give you more hours and even sometimes that varies.

Pros

good pay decent hours good benefits for full-time local routes easy job if you can handle the lifting of 25-50 # frequently and 8 hrs of driving

Cons

associates do not get benefits keeping a separate vehicle for carriers is expensive for a fill-in carrier not a lot of communication to part-time and fill-ins advancement to full-time is possible but takes years as a carrier associate unless you are willing to relocate or wait out a retirement.
