Pros

Decent benefits and stock if you stick around for 5 years, but trust me you won't want to do that

Cons

They treat you like a second class citizen if you haven't driven a package car for 20+ years. Senior management is more worried about what the competitors are doing rather than fixing the system integration issues from all of the acquisitions and working on better defining and outlining solid business decisions and strategies.

Pros

Exactly what previous person said, if you're a full-time student this job is great. Allows flexible hours since they pay you hourly wages not salary.

Cons

Everything. Management sees you as a working drone. Always looking to increase productivity but they never provide a substantial plan. "This month we need to produce 20 files per day as opposed to the 5 per day currently produced". But they never actually tell you how workers should make their productivity go from 100% to 400%. There's only so much one person can do in one day. Especially when you don't want to pay them over time. They never address any strategies to reach their goal. Pay is horrible. And when they make an error in pay (very frequently) you have to put up quite a fight to get your money back. I was being paid at one job level lower than what I held for about 3 years until I found out. When I finally pointed it out to them they made it seem like they were doing me a favour to pay at the level they should have been paying me at 3 years earlier. Not to mention they didn't add on all the 2% increases I had gained over the years. Another time they forgot to pay out my accumulated vacation pay for the whole year. When I took it to HR they finally paid me... but somehow paid me short. Any advancement is somehow considered a lateral move. They're willing to give you larger accounts to be responsible for with a higher workload and stress levels but somehow it's not warranted even a 5 cent increase.... how does it make sense? All in all, work here only if you're desperate.

Pros

You can miss as much work as you want (depending on who your manager is). This is good for the very sickly or the bogus people wanting days off with pay. If you are work committed this policy is not very attractive. You can claim to have vast knowledge and experience to HR in order to get hired. They do not test their applicants alledged skills or knowledge. They pay based on how well you interview and what you claim to know. Some people make $45K a year with no college (non management) while others make $28K a year with allot more responsibility and education.

Cons

Absoluately no cost of living raises. You will get .25 per hour as a yearly raise, if you are lucky. Sr managers have zero people skills yet they cant figure out why the employee opinion surveys are so low every year. Office is primarily full of old timers that cant find a job elsewhere and gossiping 24/7. Numerous pointless mandatory time wasting meetings. Neglent hiring practices and supervision. Pro or con depending on who you are.
