Pros
The money. That's it. I've worked for UPS for almost 15 years. I've worked every union position this company offers, and would never, never, never consider the management side. The benefits aren't real. Your health insurance isn't real. If something happens to you, and your family doesn't know how to contact the 30 institutions required to continue health care, you're sol. You are *1 million times* better off being in control of your own insurance. 80% of upsers are divorced, single, alone, kids left, wife left... BUT! At least you got 3x pay for being overworked every single week while your family fell apart? Right? Right?! (was it really worth it? really?)
Cons
Everything else. Coworkers=toxic. Management=toxic. Union=toxic. Benefits=fake. I pray to God everyday for a way out, and more often than not consider taking my own way out.
